Build To Rent

BTR is purpose-built and therefore offers tenants a better rental experience through high quality professionally managed assets with facilities currently not on offer elsewhere. As an asset class it has low level volatility and is counter-cyclical therefore forming an integral part of the institutional investment portfolio diversification strategy. Optimisation of investor returns has been a key challenge with little comparable market evidence, therefore experience has been essential in analysing local demographics to determine viability of schemes. The long-term income profile of BTR has attracted significant investment ranging from sovereign wealth funds to local authority pension schemes.

Corby – 150 Unit BTR – Under Construction - Planning achieved on this prominent Homes England site opposite the recently upgraded Corby Train Station. Corby has seen significant level of inward investment and will benefit from the upgrade of the Midland Railway Line with travel time to London of around an hour. The scheme will provide a much needed professionally managed rental offer in this key location. Operating as a JV with Curlew Capital.

Luton - 140 Units BTR - A key site located a short distance from Luton town centre with excellent public transport links. Scheme currently has planning for a housing scheme which is being amended to provide a relevant BTR development with a mixture of 1, 2 and 3 bed flats and 2 and 3 bedroom town houses.

Leeds – 138 Units BTR - Scheme currently under due-diligence for a forward funding agreement. Hector Newton to act as a Development Manager working alongside a Tier 1 contractor. Discussions currently being held with the local authority on affordable provision and design of scheme.
